If you choose Yes for "Words adjacent," you can type in the phrase
law reform and the system
will understand that you want only records that have the word law
NEXT to the word reform.
Lowercase letters will find matches of capitalized words also. For example, law will find matches for Law and LAW.
You may use the Boolean operators AND and OR in your search string. For
example, you could type law OR reform to retrieve all
records having law or reform in them.
Use the ? character to find matches that contain portions
of words. For example, parliam? will retrieve parliament, parliamentary
, etc.
The ? character
may also be used to find variant spellings. For example, parl?ment
will find both the Polish spelling, parlament, and the British
spelling, parliament.
